i have received questions about the ultrasound!

I havent found out what the sex of the baby is the techinican wouldnt tell me, he said he wasnt allowed to comment on my question, he also said that if the doctor can figure it out then the doctor can tell me. To be honest, i dont want to know, i would rather wait to find out. I like surprises! BUT if the doctor CAN tell me i would love to know, but we will see. I have a doctor's appointment on Monday, so i wont know anything til then. So stay tuned!!

So i had my ultrasound yesterday. Things are good, the techinican said the baby looks healthy! It turns out im 17weeks not 19 weeks! I have been feeling tiny movements every now and again so im glad about that.

While we were doing the ultrasound the baby was turning, fliping and kicking around. So it sounds like the baby is doing good. I was kinda worried about that, but i think all pregnant mothers worry about that. I ordered a picture of the ultrasound, since the printer wasnt working at the hospital. I will probably get the picture in a couple of days!

I found out that my sister is having a boy!! SO cool!! my sister is due around mother's day. So our babies will be a couple months apart!! So cool!!

Did anyone watch the Lunear Eclipse last night? It happened between 6:30 and i was able to see the last part of it. It was so cool!

So! Starting March 1, we will have:

1. A different theme to blog on every month. This is TOTALLY OPTIONAL, the monthly theme is for people looking for a little more structure for their posting. Sometimes limits free us to think in new ways.

2. There will be a new blogroll every month to list that month's participants. To get your blog linked on the monthly blogroll you need to do two things:

a. Type up your blog name and URL so that they'll make a link using an "a href" tag (see here for instructions).

b. Paste it into an e-mail and send it to nablopomo@gmail.com.

Any links that are not in this exact format will not be put on the blogroll, coding it is a time consuming activity and having you do this one simple thing will make it so I don't cry every time I come to the NaBlo home page.

3. As for prizes, I'm going to limit each month to one prize, a $20.00 gift certificate to the online shopping emporium of the winner's choice. Amazon, Powell's, Etsy, whatever you want. The winner of the prize will be randomly drawn from the pool of people who blogged the whole month without missing a day, no cheating.

November will still be the "official" NaBlo month, and it will be the only month where we do a giant random giveaway of prizes donated by NaBlo members. This way November will stay extra special, and we won't have to over-tax the community's generosity.

Where is everyone?

Yesterday i had a complete appointment at the doctors. I was able to hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time!! YAY!!! I was so excited!!! When we were listening to the baby, the doctor informed that the sound that we heard was the baby kicking! So excitng!!! Another thing that i thought was funny was when we were talking about the ultrasound she said "if you see something waving in the wind, its a boy, but if see nothing its a girl". So i will try to look and see if i see anything, but i will also ask the techinican who is doing the u/s. I i recongize the person from last time i wont even ask, cause i know what he will say!! So stay turned for the 25th of this month!! I cant wait!!!
